Universal Remote Control

Universal Remote Control is a remote control app that lets you control your TV as long as you meet a few specific requirements. First of all, you need to own an Android device with Infrared technology. If your device does NOT support Infrared, you won't be able to use it as a remote control. Secondly, you need to own a TV from one of the following brands: Panasonic, Sharp, Dreambox, Samsung, Onkyo, Integra, LG Electronics, Denon, or Marantz.

If you're missing one of these requirements, you can't use this app. However, if you do have a compatible smartphone and TV, then you can use this app to turn up and down the volume, play videos, etc. Basically, you can turn your Android device into an actual remote control.
